Two Funidata leaders were selected for Tivi’s Women Leaders in Technology 2026 list. The recognition highlights influential work in shaping the technology sector.
Tivi Magazine and the Software Finland Executive Club have published their Women Leaders in Technology 2026 list. The list highlights 50 influential leaders and changemakers who have made a significant impact on Finland’s technology sector and contributed to shaping the industry’s future.
Two individuals with strong ties to Funidata were recognised on the list: Chief Product Officer Mari Riihiaho and Vice Chair of the Board Ilona Ylinampa.
Mari Riihiaho has been involved in building the Sisu Student Information System throughout Funidata’s ten-year history. Tivi highlighted her long-standing role in developing Finland’s leading student information system.
Ilona Ylinampa is recognised as a modern, people-centred technology leader. In its rationale, Tivi describes her as an exemplary leader who puts people first and represents a contemporary approach to leadership.
The recognitions are a testament to the impact Mari and Ilona have had in the technology sector. They also reflect a broader development in which more women are shaping the future of technology through leadership and influence. Women now also form the majority on Funidata’s Board of Directors following the company’s recent board appointments.
Congratulations to Mari and Ilona on this well-deserved recognition!
