Mikko Myllys
Chief Executive Officer
Mikko is an experienced professional in software and service business with over 20 years of leadership experience in the ICT sector. Previously, he has worked as a senior management consultant at Sprout Consulting Oy and held executive team positions at Innofactor Plc. Mikko holds an Executive MBA from Aalto University and has also studied theology at the University of Helsinki.
Jarkko Elo
Chief Commercial Officer
Jarkko has over 25 years of experience in software, cloud, and learning technologies. He has worked internationally at companies such as AWS, Blackboard, and Itslearning, bringing a broad perspective to developing solutions for higher education. Jarkko holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Turku and is a qualified teacher from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
Jani Kajander
Chief People and Marketing Officer
Jani holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on marketing and human resources management from Aalto University. He has previously worked in communications agencies, major Finnish media companies, and as a member of the executive team at Unigrafia Ltd, owned by Finnish higher education institutions. Since the founding of Funidata, Jani has been involved in building the company’s employee experience and external communications.
Ulla Hemminki-Reijonen
Chief Product & Delivery Officer
Ulla has over 15 years of experience in product development and management within the software and EdTech industries. Prior to joining Funidata, she worked at the University of Helsinki, the City of Helsinki’s innovation unit, Innofactor, and Sanoma Media Finland, among others. Ulla possesses strong expertise in educational innovation, the application of artificial intelligence, and the development of digital services for the higher education sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation and Education from Harvard University and a Master of Arts from the University of Helsinki.
Toni Sallanmaa
Chief Technology Officer
Toni has over 15 years of experience in the software industry and strong expertise in SaaS solutions. As a Master of Science in Technology from Aalto University, his skills cover modern software development comprehensively, with a particular focus on cybersecurity. Toni is known for his ability to lead teams and build technology strategies with a holistic perspective.
